A fairy-tale landscape among small, romatic villages and imposing mountains, splendid valleys and silent forests: this is the skiing area between Pelmo and Civetta, in the heart of the Venetian Dolomites and yet still part of the Dolomiti Superski. Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Zoldo and Palafavera are the main towns in this area that are united by age-old traditions and customs.

The 80 Km. of slopes that are always well covered by snow, link the three valleys that sorround the Ski Civetta in an exalting merry-go-round of downhill skiing that leave the audience breathless.

Alleghe

In the north of Veneto Region, in a narrow valley, few kilometres south from the Marmolada, there lies Alleghe; closed to the east from the big Monte Civetta (which divides Alleghe from Zoldo) and from a small beautiful lake to the west.

During the last 30 years Alleghe has improved the winter tourism and nowadays it is one of the most famous ski areas in the Dolomites!! It is the smallest village of Europe, which owns a hockey team which plays the National Championship. So respecting the natural resources and the mountains it is born in the year 1982 the CIVETTA SKI AREA that groups together Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Palafavera and Zoldo. The Skiarea offers 80 km. skislopes and the bubble lift takes you from Alleghe on the slopes in 5 minutes. From season 1993/94 Civetta with Alleghe is one of the ski areas of Dolomiti Superski too, and there is a skibus service to Marmolada and of course to Sella Ronda!!
