Having skied for the last 15 years in the USA at the ski resorts Mammoth Mountain and Tahoe in California as well as in Utah (Mammoth being my favourite) I am looking for a resort in Italy that will offer the same kind of skiing. I am a blue/red skier and enjoy the long runs – blue skies and après ski entertainment for the 40+ age group. Which resort would you recommend?

Hi

I would suggest Sellaronda - the biggest ski carousel in Dolomites. You could stay in Campitello or Arabba, both fantastic location and as an alternative Ponte di Legno and Tonale you would have access to Presena glacier and fantastic slopes in Ponte di Legno + Temu and Tonale pass.

Sellaronda ski area information >>

Ponte di Legno and Tonale resort information >>
